When you register with Google, we receive the following data from your Google account:

• Name: used as your username in the rankings.
• Email address: used to uniquely identify your account.
• Profile photo: shown in the header when you're logged in.

We do not request or store passwords, ID numbers, banking details, physical addresses or any other sensitive personal data.

Additionally, we record the data necessary for the game to function:

• Your predictions (question, chosen option, confidence level, date).
• Your accumulated points, streak and title.
• Your position in the monthly rankings.

This information is necessary for the game to function and is visible (in part) to other users in the rankings section.

We use your data solely to:

• Manage your account and session on the platform.
• Record and display your predictions.
• Calculate and display your score in the rankings.
• Show you your prediction history in your profile.

We do not use your data for personalized advertising, commercial profiling, nor share it with third parties for commercial purposes.

Login is carried out through Google OAuth. When you log in, Google shares your basic profile data (name, email, photo) with us. This process is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

All platform data is stored in Supabase, a secure database platform that meets modern security and encryption standards. Data is stored on AWS servers in the US East (North Virginia) region.

Gurucle uses technical cookies necessary to keep your session active while you browse the platform. We do not use tracking, advertising or third-party analytics cookies.

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Rectify incorrect data.
• Delete your account and all associated data.
• Object to the processing of your data at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our social media. We process requests within 30 business days.

We may update this privacy policy at any time. Changes will be communicated on the platform. Continuing to use Gurucle implies acceptance of the current policy.
